Cactus Time!

Saw the first and only (so far) saguaro cactus flower bloom today on the Upper Javelina Trail. Maybe this is the signal that the COVID-19 pandemic is on the wane in Pima County? I really hope so.


Many cactus in the region are starting to bloom and will be prolific in the next few weeks. The following is a mosaic of cactus photos recently taken in the Tortolitas.



The saguaro cactus have been practicing social distancing for hundreds of years!
