Good morning. Some of you may have heard and/or seen a helicopter (not the actual chopper left) making passes over the Tortolita Preserve and other state land this morning between 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM.
Marana PD informed TA that a traffic stop by another agency occurred on Tangerine and a couple of passengers took off running into the desert. The helicopter is providing air search. Marana PD is assisting.
Marana PD advises that there is no information that would indicate these individuals are a threat.
