Many Dove Mountain residents are very concerned about the recent uptick in crime and low-flying aircraft noise in the early hours of the morning has been an ongoing issue for a few years. We have been able to arrange a meeting with Town of Marana officials regarding both topics.
Attending from the Town will be Terry Rozema (Town Manager), Reuben Nuñez (Police Chief) and Galen Beem (Marana Airport Superintendent). They will provide background information, steps being taken to address crime and low-flying aircraft in the Dove Mountain region and how we can safely help. This will be an opportunity to hear it directly from our Town leaders and ask questions.
This meeting is open to all Dove Mountain residents and will also be announced via other community websites. The meeting will be held at the Marana Police Department as appropriate venues in the Dove Mountain region are not available.
